Where is my Vesak holiday???

Happy Vesak Day - NOT!!!

I don't get any day offs or leave in lieu for the training when the public holiday falls on a Saturday. FML.

The exam is on next Friday and I've not started on my revision yet. I'm supposed to be studying now but I've got no motivation at all. =X

I have in heels from 7.30am till 7pm everyday, 12 hours daily. Although it's just mini heels, it can really take a toll on my feet. They have been so sore and swollen. So sweet of the boyfriend to get this to soothe my tired legs and the best thing is that it actually works!

We went to Mink last Friday. It was super random and spontaneous!!!

Decisions

I've survived 2 weeks of the training. I used to think it is not that tough to get in, and training would be a like a breeze for me. That's why I always thought that it was exaggeration when people think it's a such prestige to be part of this. I take back my words. This is not an easy journey. During the first few days, I kept doubting my decision in this change. Getting in requires much effort, and the training requires a lot of determination. Fortunately, everyone has been super supportive especially the boyfriend ♥, and my new friends are very much what I had hoped for. I'm getting used to my new life now, and no longer unsure of my choice in the change in my life. 6th July, that is the date which I will be looking forward to. ( =

The boyfriend and I went for his cousin's housewarming last weekend, at the Punggol Arcadia. The BTO we've applied for a few years back. Both of us are so glad that we chose not to take it up back then. Otherwise, we would have been married by now and people would be coming to our housewarming at our new house. Things would have been so different. I would be stuck in my old job and he wouldn't be leaving the force this year. There are still so much more for us to achieve before settling down. To say that we are relieved that we stood strong by our decision not to take it up, would be an understatement. At this point in time, we couldn't be more sure of what we want. ( =

Piece of advice for the single ladies out there, don't get caught up with the crowd and rush into the BTO. Don't be swayed by the influence. It may ruin any of your future plans. True story. Yes, the house takes time to build and all. Don't worry about it. You will make it work when the time comes. ( =
